STUDIO harpsichord, unfinished version

STUDIO Harpsichord, unfinished version

This instrument is inspired by a Flemish harpsichord by J. Ruckers (Antwerp, 1638), preserving its main structural and acoustic characteristics. Some decorative elements have been eliminated.

The parts responsible for the production of sound (soundboard, bridges) and for the action (jacks, keyboard, registers) are in solid wood (spruce, beech, service wood) and are identical to those used in the more advanced models.

The instrument is available in the basic version, with a single 8′ register and lute, or in a version with two 8′ registers and lute. The basic version is constructed so as to allow the subsequent addition of a second unison register (as weel as of the four foot registre in the Double Version).

At request a version with two keyboards and three registers, 8’8’4′ lute, is available.

The instrument is available in natural wood, unfinished, or upon request it can be painted and decorated.

Personalized decoration is available upon request.
