Your Harpsichord can live “difficult ” moments, for example, due to transport accidents. Sometimes parts of the structure subjected to stress and tension will deform, requiring a repair.
In other cases there may be defects that are inherent in the instrument, particularly in parts of mechanics (which require a high degree of precision construction), which limit the correct funtionality.

Harpsichord action requires absolute precision in order to work satisfactorily. Unfortunately all parts of the case and action are made of wood, a material excellent in terms of sound, but still “alive” and therefore quite unstable, sensitive to climatic changes in temperature and humidity.
